What are you doing this Monday? Paul G. Allen has graciously offered to open his sports facility on Mercer Island each Monday from 7:00-9:30 PM to all Vulcan Inc. employees. The facility consists of a basketball court, pool, hot tubs, game room, locker room and sauna. Each time you attend a Vulcan Rec Night, report that you did to earn 25 VIBE reward points.

Registration: Up to 24 participants can be accommodated each week and employees have the option of inviting one guest, 18 years or older. Employees interested in participating must send an e-mail message to Vulcan RecNight beginning on the Wednesday prior and no later than 12:00 p.m. on the Monday of the actual event. (Please include the name of your guest in your e-mail.) You will receive an e-mail confirmation if you are selected for the event. Selection is based on first come, first served basis. In order to keep this offer open to many employees, those who have not been on the list previously will be given first priority.

Waiver: All release forms, rules and regulations , parking information and the directions to the estate can be by searching the Vulcan Dashboard. Signed waivers and a copy of your guest's driver's license must be faxed to (206) 652-5139 by 12:00 p.m. on the Monday they are planning to attend the event. If you do not receive an e-mail confirmation and/or appropriate forms have not been signed, you and your guest will not be admitted onto the estate.

Parking and Shuttle: Employees are asked to park at the Mercer Island QFC where a shuttle service will begin at 6:45 p.m. The last shuttle to the estate is at 7:15 p.m. Employees may request to leave the estate at anytime by dialing extension 5100. All employees are required to present their Vulcan Inc. security card to security and guests will be required to present a current driver's license or state I.D.

Some of the features include:

• Use of the basketball court or it can be converted into a volleyball area, however it is one or the other not both at the same time. If volleyball is desired, it is an involved set-up and therefore we would need to know this in advance.
• Use of swimming pool including water slide, platform dive and 4 hot tubs. Note, there is no diving permitted from the bridge area for safety reasons and to protect our liability.
• The locker rooms have a steam room and sauna as well as showers and changing area.
• Use of Tennis Court.
• The game room has a pool table and game tables to play chess and cards.
• Beverages will be available at the refrigerators located in the pool area, men's locker room and the kitchen of the game room area.
