Get moving and track 30,000 steps each week during this challenge (that's a little over 4000 steps per day). Walk, hike, bike, swim, rock climb or even dance your way to this goal. Each week that you reach 30,000 steps (15 miles) you will earn 25 points a week. Track and enter your steps using a pedometer, activity device, tracking app or website suggested below. 30,000 steps is the equivalent of almost 15 miles.

Remember – 2000 steps is approximately 1 mile. At an easy pace one mile takes approximately 24 minutes so an hour a day will achieve this week challenge!

Rack up More Steps Everyday
  • End the day with an after-dinner walk around the neighborhood
  • Leave at least 3 empty spots between your car and the next when parking. This rule will likely push you to park further out in the lot.
  • Take the stairs, take the stairs, take the stairs.
  • Go for a walk with a young child (or a curious pup) and let them lead the way
  • Add 10 minutes to your usual cardio workout
